LogMeIn

I Recently found a site that can access your computer via web-bases page. It’s like a software to remote a computer via another computer.

LogMeIn (NASDAQ: LOGM) is a suite of software services that provides remote access to computers over the Internet. The various product versions are designed for both end users and professional help desk personnel.

LogMeIn remote access products use a proprietary remote desktop protocol that is transmitted via SSL. An SSL certificate is created for each remote desktop and is used to cryptographically secure communications between the remote desktop and the accessing computer.

Users access remote desktops using either the LogMeIn Ignition stand-alone application or a web portal. The web portal requires either an ActiveX plugin for Internet Explorer, or an extension for Firefox (the LogMeIn plug-in for Firefox), failing that it falls back to requiring Java in order to run a Java program, and failing that it falls back to “a screen-shot based HTML remote control”. The web portal also provides status information for the remote computers and, optionally, remote computer management functions.

The service connects the remote desktop and the local computer using SSL over TCP or UDP and utilizing NAT traversal techniques to achieve peer-to-peer connectivity when available

Pacquiao-Clottey Fight @ PLDT WatchPad

I hope PLDT has learned a lot of lesson from the pacquiao vs cotto fight last year when WatchPad subscribers were treated with stinky and intermittent feed.

I think this time PLDT will provide the very best uptime quality for the users who wants to Watch Pacquiao vs Clottey Free Live Stream unlike the last time during Pacquiao vs Cotto Fight wherein a lot of PLDT watchpad users had a negative feedback after the Pacquiao Cotto fight.

Some experienced a very slow connection during the last time out and some experienced no connection at all but this time it is more organize as PLDT limited the users who want to Watch Pacquiao vs Clottey Live Streaming Online For Free by letting them register first before they can Watch Pacquiao Clottey Free Live Streaming. Website vs Blog

There are a couple of differences between a static website and a blog. The blog is much easier to update and does not require FTP or uploading to cpanel to change.

The blog also has an RSS feed built into it. This allows people to get your feed and know what is happening on your blog at their convenience.

For the second part of the question, you can have a blog without having a domain registered to you. There are services like blogger and WordPress.com that walleye you to have a free blog or their domain.

I recommend that you host your own blog or your own domain. The reason for that is that it takes work to develop traffic to blogs and I would prefer to be coming to a site that I own rather than a site to someone else owns.

As always, your comments are welcome. If you tried to enter a question in the survey form earlier this week please try again. Now that I have questions, look for more regular postings.

1. A website versus a blog in terms of navigation.
2. A website versus a blog in terms of update-ability.
3. A website versus a blog in terms of web usability.
4. A website versus a blog in terms of author-reader interaction.
